Advice from Ninth Graders to Sixth Graders



Sixth graders...
  1. Don't believe everything you hear about middle school;  it's not terrible. 
  2. Pay attention, don't goof off and you're golden.
  3. Respect 8th graders
  4. Don't stretch yourself too thin
  5. Work hard and don't be afraid to ask for help
  6. Take notes in history
  7. Enjoy sixth grade;  it only gets harder
  8. Hone your time management skills
  9. Always do your homework and study for tests
  10. Keep your stuff organized
  11. Leave plenty of time for homework, then work on long term projects.  Don't put them off!
  12. Be open to making new friends
  13. If your school or teachers have any subscription services online, use them.
  14. Don't let yourself get behind because it is really hard to catch up.
