Teaching the Square Peg™
An interactive professional development workshop for high school teachers

Faculty members will complete the workshop with…

• An understanding of  learning styles and why square peg students often struggle with work production, organization and time management
• Tips and strategies for helping students more effectively manage their assignments, note taking and test preparation
• Tools for incorporating study strategies directly into their individual curriculum
• New communication tools for collaborating with  students and promoting self advocacy

This workshop is designed for teachers in all subjects and no background in learning disabilities is assumed or needed.  Training is hands-on and involves partner, group and solo work.  

Time invested - Three to four hours
Fee: $1200-$1500 depending on time
